Therapeutic sound sessions using singing bowls and gongs to reduce stress and burnout among healthcare professionals in high-pressure roles.
Real experiences from the people and families we've had the privilege to serve.
During one of our school eye screening camps, our team identified a young girl whose blurred vision was caused by a cataract. Recognizing the urgency of her condition, we promptly coordinated her referral and completed all the necessary arrangements for treatment.
With the support of our partner ophthalmologist, senior optometrist, and the generous contributions of our donors, she underwent successful cataract surgery using a high-quality intraocular lens. Regular follow-up care ensured a smooth recovery and excellent visual outcomes.
When her bandages were removed, her joy was unmistakable. Seeing clearly once again, she greeted our team with a warm smile, expressed her heartfelt gratitude with a hug, and delighted everyone by reciting a poem.
Her restored vision is more than a medical success — it is a renewed opportunity to learn, dream, and build a brighter future. Every act of generosity helps us bring hope and sight to children who deserve the chance to see the world clearly.
At our Chaitanyam Human Excellence Workshop, organized by Ekam Foundation Mumbai, we met a young girl with one big dream — to become a caring nurse. When she first arrived, she was shy and frightened; speaking to anyone, let alone coming on stage, felt impossible for her.
But by the end of the session, something had changed. She came to us with tears in her eyes and said, "Thank you for giving me strength and confidence for my future journey."
A few months later, that same girl took a bold step. She started her own Old Age Home Centre — providing medical care to elders at the lowest possible cost, and serving those who have no one to care for them, or cannot pay, free of cost.
Today, she is not just chasing her dream, she is living it — caring, healing, and giving dignity to those who need it most. This is what Human Excellence looks like: what happens when confidence meets compassion.
